i torture my fonts. i can't leave them go. i try profane experiments on them in a variety of vector drawing programs, and then when they don't match up to my expectations i use goudy and new century schoolbook in my work. to humiliate them? or myself? this font like so many others, could have been something better than it is. but i made it try to be something it never could be. but i still kind of like it. for yard sale signs, advertisements in the back pages of engineering magazines, overstock sales at munitions factories, the banner over the kissing booth at a retiree's farewell party. . . Desiderata-Overwrought is the narrow version- best for scaling.
