INFO

This handy-dandy font is based on a design labeled simply “No. 185 — Poster Letters,” from Lettering for Commercial Purposes, Sixth Edition (1931). It’s the handiwork of William Hugh Gordon, one of many lettering artists who published how-to handbooks in the first half of the twentieth century. Seems like just yesterday, doesn’t it?
