Round, firm and fully-packed, and touted as “without equal, the only font that will always satisfy your clients,” Independant was designed by Messrs. G. Collette and J. Dufour in 1930. Sixty-nine years later, you get my version. The font’s name is a tip of the hat to my youngest sister, a longtime fan of the Sex Pistols, lighting designer to the stars and former Art Director for MTV in NYC.
